Dawn Days of Winter

In the month of January 2021, I made myself present at the ocean for dawn each day (as many who took on this journey also did), camera in hand, attempting to let my mind run free. From raging and powerful lumps of water detonating on shallow reefs, storms and high wind, strange wave shapes and surface textures all the way to calm and ethereal water movement.

The Dawn Days experience was wild, difficult at times, cold all the time, but gosh was it magic too - inside and out. And the last couple days I was rewarded with sunshine and clean swell.
